Uttarakhand CM Dhami’s Commitment to a Corruption-Free State

In Dehradun, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in a felicitation ceremony organized by religious and social organizations in Balliwala. The event celebrated his efforts towards a ‘corruption-free Uttarakhand.’ Dhami led an oath-taking ceremony, reinforcing the commitment to this goal. The Chief Minister elaborated on the steps taken to combat corruption, recognizing the public’s backing as crucial to the campaign’s success. The honor, he stated, was a testament to realizing the dream of a corruption-free Uttarakhand and acknowledged the 1.25 crore people of Uttarakhand. The state government has used technology to increase transparency, including an online transfer system, CM Helpline 1905 to monitor the examination system and address public grievances, and 1064 for reporting corruption. The government has taken decisive action against corruption in recruitment exams, transfer-posting, and scheme implementation. Over 200 people involved in corruption have been jailed in the past three years, and more than 24,000 people have received government jobs in the last four years. The government has implemented the Uniform Civil Code, anti-copying laws, and taken action against land and love jihad. ‘Operation Kalanemi’ is underway to uncover impersonators in the state, leading to the arrest of more than 200 suspects, including some Bangladeshi infiltrators. Dhami appealed to the public to report any suspicious activities to the police, and he reaffirmed the government’s commitment to a transparent and accountable governance system, embodying Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mantra “Na khaunga, na khane doonga.”
