Troubled by the increasing number of thefts, rapid action was taken during which 4 accused of the interstate thief gang have been arrested. Tejaji Nagar Police has disclosed the theft incident. Stolen goods worth Rs 31 lakh have been recovered from the accused. All the accused are residents of Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh.
Tejaji Nagar police has achieved a big success in which the police has arrested four accused while exposing the criminals who committed robbery in the area. This includes a woman as well. In this entire incident, two accused are still absconding and they are being searched continuously.
Giving information about the whole case, Tejaji Nagar police station in-charge Kuldeep Singh said that the incidents of robbery were increasing in the area. Due to which the police was constantly searching for the criminals who committed the theft. The police got success when it was informed that some of the criminals who committed the theft live in Mundla itself. And they come from Uttar Pradesh and commit theft here.
After receiving the information, the police raided the place. When the house was searched, the police found a large amount of gold and silver jewellery. When the entire house was thoroughly searched, the police found a large amount of gold and silver jewellery, 10 mobile laptops and more than Rs 3 lakh in cash. Mehboob Hameed, Mohammad Riyaz, Mohammad Salman and a woman Hina were arrested by the police from the spot.
During interrogation, the accused told the police that they sell clothes and sell clothes by roaming around in the streets. During this, they carry out the crime of theft by doing recce of empty houses. The accused also told that all of them are residents of Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh and used to live in a rented house after coming here. After going to Bijnor and selling the stolen goods, they used to come back to Indore and again get involved in their theft.
The police have recovered gold and silver jewellery, laptops, mobiles and cash from all the arrested accused. The total value of which is more than 31 lakh rupees. There are two more accused in the entire incident. They are still absconding from the police. They are being searched for.
