Lucknow: The time table of by-elections has been declared at the two vacant seats within the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council (UP MLC). The dates for the election procedure for those seats had been introduced through the Election Fee. The method will start on July 25 and polling shall be hung on August 11.
State Leader Electoral Officer Ajay Kumar Shukla stated in a observation issued right here on Monday that the Election Fee of India has made up our minds to carry by-elections to fill two vacant seats within the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council. He stated that efforts could be made to finish the election procedure ahead of August 16.
In keeping with the observation, Ahmed Hassan, a member of the Legislative Council, died on February 20. His time period was once until 30 January 2027. Except for this, Thakur Jaiveer Singh had resigned from the club on March 24 final. His time period was once until Might 5, 2024. On account of this, each the seats are vacant, on which by-elections are to be held.
The Leader Electoral Officer stated that the notification of nomination shall be issued on July 25, 2022 for the by-elections at the vacant seats of the Legislative Council and August 1 is the final date for nominations. On August 11, polling shall be held from 9 am to 4 pm and counting of votes will get started from 5 pm on August 11.
