In view of the paper leak in the constable recruitment exam and RO-ARO exam in UP, the Yogi government has now brought the UP Public Examination Ordinance 2024. Under this, if found guilty in the paper leak, life imprisonment and a fine of one crore rupees will be imposed. This proposal has been approved by the Yogi Cabinet.

If the exam is affected due to paper leak or other reasons, then the expenses incurred on it will be recovered from the solver gang. Also, the companies and service providers who commit fraud in the exam will be blacklisted forever. Let us tell you that during the Lok Sabha elections, CM Yogi Adityanath had talked about bringing a strict law to crack down on the copying mafia. Now the government has taken a big step in this regard.

In a press note, the government said that distributing fake question papers, creating fake employment websites, etc. have also been made punishable offences. A provision has also been made for a minimum punishment of two years to life imprisonment and a penalty of up to one crore rupees for violating the provisions of the Act.
