The projects going on till now are worth Rs 1 lakh crore. Of these, there are only ropeways worth Rs 16 thousand crores. In the coming time, this amount will be Rs 2 lakh crore in Uttarakhand. Distance from Delhi to Dehradun will decrease

The Union Minister has said that Uttarakhand currently has national highways spanning 3,608 kilometers. Many new projects have been started, some of which are going to be completed soon. One of the most awaited projects is the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway, also known as the Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor. This is expected to significantly reduce the travel time between Delhi and the state capital of Uttarakhand.

    Good infrastructure is needed

Gadkari said, one thing is clear that if we want capital investment and development of industry then we need good infrastructure. Without water, electricity, transport and communication, we cannot develop agriculture, services and industry. We cannot develop tourism without infrastructure. Gadkari said, ‘When Modi ji became PM in 2014, he gave highest priority to the development of infrastructure in the country. When we have decided to make a great country developed, we will also have to develop global standard infrastructure and we are making every possible effort for this.
