Pushpalesh Dwivedi, Singrauli. Police have arrested four accused who recently murdered a businessman’s wife in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. Police disclosed that the main accused Mahadev had lost Rs 27 lakh by betting on the app. To repay the loan amount, he planned a robbery and then contacted his associates and involved them in this crime. All the accused are residents of Uttar Pradesh. The other two accused are absconding.

In fact, 4 days ago, there was a fatal attack on the wife and daughter of a businessman under the Kotwali police station area of Singrauli district. Regarding the case, Singrauli SP said that the main accused Bablu Jaiswal had lost Rs 27 lakh while playing betting in Mahadev App. He had taken this money from various loan giving companies. After losing money in betting, he had decided to commit robberies. The accused had prepared a strategy to carry out the crime about 6 months ago by meeting four persons from UP through Instagram.
On March 31, five persons had entered the house on the pretext of carrying out the incident. But since nothing much was found in the house, the accused tried to kill the businessman’s wife Manju Jaiswal and daughter Deeksha Jaiswal with a sharp weapon. During this, Manju Jaiswal died on the spot. While daughter Deeksha Jaiswal is still undergoing treatment in Banaras.
Rewa division IG MS Sikarwar said that after the incident, four to five teams were continuously on leave in search of the accused. After identification of the local accused through CCTV, two accused have been arrested from Banda of Uttar Pradesh and two other accused from Babrala district Sambalpur Uttar Pradesh. The police have produced all the arrested accused in the court and sent them to jail. Fellow IG Rewa Division Rewa has announced awards to all the employees for the success in catching the accused.
