Kanpur. A surprising case has come to light from Kanpur, UP. Here a 22-year-old lover first murdered a 45-year-old woman by slitting her throat. Then poured petrol and set it on fire. Here the family members of the woman had registered a case of kidnapping in the police station. The matter is of Kairana Dera village of Sumerpur police station area.
It is being told that Channa Nishad, resident of Kairana Dera village of Hamirpur in Kanpur South, is survived by his 45-year-old wife Rekha, 3 daughters and two sons. The 22 year old elder daughter is married. Channa Nishad told the police that on December 21, 2023, wife Rekha had left the house saying she was going to the market, but did not return.
On the other hand, when the police got the CDR of the woman's mobile number, it was found that she had been talking for hours to 22-year-old Sukhveer Yadav, a resident of Bidhnu. After this the police took Sukhveer into custody and interrogated him. Sukhveer told that on December 21, Rekha came out of the house. After this he stayed in a tent on the banks of the canal near Dharamangadpur in Sachendi area. On December 22, both of them had sex after drinking alcohol. After this, Rekha started quarreling and her throat was slit with a knife. Then they collected grass and placed a blanket over the dead body, poured petrol on it and set it on fire.
On Thursday, when Hamirpur police reached Dharamangadpur village of Sachendi with the youth, they found burnt remains of the dead body. When it was investigated, it was found that this skeleton belonged to Channa's wife Rekha.
