Lok Sabha Election 2024. SP chief and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav will start the election campaign from Pilibhit on April 12. Former UP CM will start campaigning for SP candidates from Pilibhit Lok Sabha constituency along with opposition party Congress.
Congress leaders including Rahul Gandhi or Priyanka Gandhi are likely to participate in this rally, in which supporters of both the parties will be seen together. As per the seat-sharing agreement, SP is contesting on 62 seats in Uttar Pradesh, Congress is contesting on 17 seats while Trinamool Congress has been given one seat. After Pilibhit, Akhilesh Yadav is scheduled to address rallies in Nagina and Bijnor.

Let us tell you that the first phase of voting in Pilibhit is to be held on 19th April. As a strategy, Akhilesh Yadav is starting the campaign from this seat which SP has never won. Whereas the ruling BJP refused to give ticket to the sitting BJP MP Varun Gandhi from there. Bhagwat Saran Gangwar is SP’s candidate from Pilibhit seat, while BJP has fielded Uttar Pradesh minister Jitin Prasad.
