Anoop Mishra, Bahraich. Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi reached Bahraich on Friday. During this, he launched a scathing attack on Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. He alleged that rioters were respected in the SP government and compensation was given on the basis of caste. Minister Shahi said that Akhilesh Yadav often makes statements beyond facts and supports rioters.
Citing the Muzaffarnagar riots, the minister said that Akhilesh Yadav invited the rioters to the Chief Minister’s office and honoured them and also provided them food. Minister Shahi clarified that the BJP government works without any discrimination. Whereas during the SP government, decisions were taken on the basis of caste.

Shahi said that the public punished Akhilesh Yadav for his deeds and threw him out of power. In future also the public will give him a befitting reply. After this, Minister Shahi left to inspect the flood affected areas in Mahsi area of Bahraich.
