Holi Special Train Detail: Every year on Holi in the country, there is a huge crowd of people traveling by train to their native place, due to which many people are not able to travel. If you also want to go home on the occasion of Holi this year, then there is great news for you. In fact, in view of the increasing number of passengers during Holi this year, Indian Railways has announced to run 20 pairs of additional trains from East Central Railway (ECR).
With this, the total number of Holi special trains running or passing through ECR will become 51 pairs. One such special train is going to run between Saharsa and Tata on March 23, which will leave at 1:20 pm and reach at 3 am the next day. The return journey will start from Saharsa at 6 am on March 24 and reach Tata at 8:45 pm via Khagaria-Begusarai-New Barauni-Kiul and Asansol.
Another Saharsa-Tata special train service will run every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from March 18 to April 5, departing from Tata at 7:20 pm and reaching Saharsa at 11:20 am the next day. The return journey will leave Saharsa at 1 pm every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from March 19 to April 6 and reach Tata at 5 pm the next day via Khagaria-Begusarai-New Barauni-Kiul-Jasidih-Dhanbad-Bokaro.
Apart from this, special trains like Ranchi-Gorakhpur, Shalimar-Darbhanga, Ranchi-Jaynagar and Ranchi-Purnia will also run during this period. For example, the Ranchi-Gorakhpur train will depart from Ranchi at 9:45 pm on March 22 and reach Gorakhpur at 4 pm the next day. The return journey will start from Gorakhpur at 5 am on March 24 and reach Ranchi at 9:25 pm on the same day. These special services are aimed at making travel easier for passengers celebrating Holi and ensuring smooth travel for all.
