Farrukhabad. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has temporarily seized 15 immovable properties of Dr. Zakir Hussain Memorial Trust. The Enforcement Directorate gave this information through its X account.
ED has written that ED, Lucknow Zonal Office has attached 15 immovable properties worth Rs 29.51 lakh in the form of agricultural land situated in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh and property worth Rs 16.41 lakh belonging to Dr. Zakir Hussain Memorial Trust under the provisions of PMLA, 2002. 4 bank accounts have been temporarily attached.

According to media reports, the investigation revealed that the grant-in-aid of Rs 71.5 lakh received by the Trust was not used for organizing camps sanctioned by the Central Government. It has been alleged that Louise Khurshid, wife of senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid, and two others embezzled Rs 71.50 lakh in central government funds for their personal gains.
Let us tell you that ED action is continuing in UP. On March 1, the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Allahabad Sub-Zone, had awarded post-matric scholarship to Shivam Gupta, president of Om Prakash Institute of Management and Technology and three other group colleges/schools, under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002. Was arrested in scam case. He was produced before the Special Court (PMLA), Lucknow. After which the court has given 7 days custody of Shivam Gupta to ED.
