Unnao. Dead body of a woman found hanging after 8 months of love marriage. The woman’s maternal family accused her husband of murder. Her parents say that she was killed due to non-payment of dowry.
Sarojini, daughter of Mewalal, resident of Rampur Akhauli village, Hasanganj Kotwali area of Unnao, had a love marriage with Rohit Verma, resident of Mehndi Kheda village on 18 June 2023. The dispute between husband and wife started just after 8 months of marriage. On Tuesday afternoon, Sarojini’s body was found hanging from the fan in the room by her dupatta.

Sarojini’s brother Ram Kishore has filed an FIR accusing her husband Rohit Verma, father-in-law Raj Kumar, mother-in-law Sarojini, sister-in-law along with her brother-in-law of killing her and hanging her body due to non-fulfillment of her dowry demand.
