Uttar Pradesh lady accuses husband of promoting her to get well ballot cash

MUZAFFARNAGAR: The spouse of an area chief in Uttar Pradesh, whose video went viral after he cried at a police station alleging that he was once denied a ballot price ticket “even after paying a big amount of money”, has filed a grievance accusing her husband of “promoting her to his pals for cash”.

She additionally alleged that she was once raped at her personal home.

The lady was once given a price ticket by means of any other birthday celebration after her husband’s video began doing the rounds on social media.

The police have now booked the husband and his pals and family members for gang rape, felony intimidation, and different severe sections of the IPC.

In keeping with the grievance, the girl, who runs a health center, alleged that her husband didn’t take her to the counting station on March 10.

“Hours after counting ended, a chum of my husband came to visit to the home and informed me my husband had despatched him to me and that I must give in to his advances. After I informed my husband, he misbehaved and thrashed me as a substitute. He informed me that as a result of I misplaced the election and he invested some huge cash in my marketing campaign, he must promote me to folks to get well the cash. Day after today, I complained to family members of my husband. In addition they abused me,” the girl mentioned in her remark.

At the foundation of the grievance, the police lodged a case underneath Sections 376D (gang-rape), 342 (wrongful confinement), 452 (house-trespass after preparation for harm, attack, or wrongful restraint), 506 (felony intimidation), and 323 (voluntarily inflicting harm) of the IPC towards the accused.

A police spokesman mentioned: “The lady has complained towards her husband and 3 others. We’ve got registered a case. Investigation is on and motion shall be taken accordingly.”

Her husband has refuted all of the allegations.
