New Delhi has witnessed a moment of triumph as the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) unveiled the final results for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025. Anuj Agnihotri has clinched the top spot, marking a stellar achievement in one of India’s most grueling competitive exams. Trailing closely, Rajeshwari Suve M secured second place, while Akansh Dhull grabbed the third position.

The results, announced on March 6, stem from the written exams held in August 2025 and interviews conducted between December 2025 and February 2026. UPSC’s merit list recommends 958 candidates for prestigious all-India and central services, reflecting a diverse pool of talent from across the nation.

Breaking into the top 10, Raghav Jhunjhunwala holds fourth, Ishaan Bhatnagar fifth, and Jinia Arora sixth. AR Raja Mohideen, Pakshal Secretary, Aastha Jain, and Ujjwal Priyank round out the seventh to tenth spots respectively. These young achievers hail from varied states and backgrounds, underscoring the exam’s nationwide appeal.

Category-wise, the selection includes 317 general category candidates, 306 OBC, 104 EWS, 158 SC, and 73 ST candidates. Persons with disabilities have also been accommodated across categories, promoting inclusivity. Out of 1087 vacancies notified by the government, key posts include 180 IAS, 55 IFS, and 150 IPS positions, alongside 507 Group A and 195 Group B central service roles.

UPSC has cautioned that reservation claims will be verified by relevant authorities, with 348 candidacies held provisionally and two results withheld. Candidates seeking clarifications can visit the commission’s facilitation counters from 10 AM to 5 PM on working days.

The CSE remains the gateway to elite services like IAS, IPS, and IFS, shaping India’s administrative backbone. As these toppers prepare to serve, their success stories inspire millions dreaming of public service.
