UP: Leader engineer at sugar mill jumps off roof to save lots of himself from hearth, dies

MEERUT: A first-rate engineer died after leaping from the roof of a sugar mill right here in a bid to save lots of himself when a hearth broke out within the plant’s turbine unit on Saturday.

In step with police, a hearth broke out within the turbine unit of the Mohiuddinpur sugar mill at round 1 pm.

The manager engineer of the mill, Narendra Kumar Kushwaha (61), was once significantly injured after leaping down from the highest flooring, Inspector Ram Pahal Singh, station in-charge, Partapur police station, instructed PTI.

“Kushwaha was once rushed to health facility the place he succumbed to his accidents,” he added.

Superintendent of Police (Town) Piyush Kumar Singh mentioned, “Native police and the hearth brigade crew reached the spot on receiving the details about the incident and controlled to keep an eye on the hearth after about two hours.”

The reason for the hearth is but to be ascertained, he added.
