The Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir, witnessed a ceasefire violation initiated by the Pakistani army. Firing was reported in the Krishna Ghati sector, originating from the Pakistani side. The Indian Army responded to the unprovoked aggression. The situation along the LoC is tense, with the Indian Army on high alert. Further updates are expected.

This violation took place while India’s Operation Sindoor is ongoing. On Monday, in the Kulgam area, Indian Army soldiers successfully eliminated three terrorists during an encounter. The area was cordoned off by security forces, resulting in the terrorists’ deaths. The search operation continues, as intelligence suggests the possible presence of additional militants in the area.
