The Indian Army is mourning the loss of two soldiers who were killed during a prolonged gunfight with terrorists in the Akhal forest area of Kulgam, South Kashmir. The operation has now entered its ninth day, becoming a significant anti-terror operation in the valley. The difficult circumstances have caused two more soldiers to be injured in the line of duty. The operation has resulted in a total of eleven security personnel wounded since the beginning of the operation.
