Tripura CM Manik Saha wins a very powerful bypoll from Bardowali by means of 6,104 votes

AGARTALA: Tripura Leader Minister Manik Saha gained the by-election from the The town Bardowali seat by means of a margin of 6,104 on Sunday, as according to the Election Fee.

The manager minister, a BJP candidate, secured 17,181 votes, which is 51.63 according to cent of the overall votes polled.

His nearest rival Asish Kumar Saha of the Congress bagged 11,077 votes or 33.29 according to cent of the overall votes.

The Left Entrance used to be on the 3rd spot as Ahead Bloc candidate Raghunath Sarkar secured 3,376 votes (10.15 according to cent).

Manik Saha, a Rajya Sabha MP, used to be appointed the executive minister of the state ultimate month after then CM Biplab Deb’s surprising resignation.

He needed to win this by-election to proceed as the executive minister.

He’ll now surrender as an MP after being elected to the meeting, as according to the foundations.

The bypoll used to be held within the The town Bardowali seat after Asish Kumar Saha resigned as a BJP MLA and joined the Congress in February.
