A crucial meeting of the India Alliance is happening today in Delhi, with the focus on the reinstatement of Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood. Farooq Abdullah, the National Conference leader, has confirmed the discussion of this matter. Furthermore, the Allahabad High Court is preparing to welcome five new judges who will be sworn in today. These judges are Pramod Kumar Srivastava, Zafir Ahmad, Santosh Rai, Abdul Shahid, and Tej Pratap Tiwari, following a notification released by the Union Ministry of Law and Justice on August 4th. In Uttar Pradesh, many farmers are slated to benefit as the state government will conduct an e-lottery, managed by the agricultural department and overseen by District Magistrates in all districts, to allocate subsidized agricultural machinery. This process will take place on August 7th and 8th across all districts.
