Alternatively, the export shipments for which irrevocable letters of credit score (LoC) had been issued on or ahead of the date of this notification might be allowed, the Directorate Basic of Overseas Business (DGFT) stated in a notification dated Might 13.
“The export coverage of wheat, is unlawful with rapid impact,” the DGFT stated.
It additionally clarified that wheat exports might be allowed at the foundation of permission granted via the Govt of India to different international locations to satisfy their meals safety wishes and according to the request in their governments.
In a separate notification, the DGFT introduced the easing of export stipulations for onion seeds.
“The export coverage of onion seeds has been put below the limited class, with rapid reality,” it stated.
The export of onion seeds was once previous prohibited.
