Patna, February 8: In a dramatic rebuttal, Rashtriya Janata Dal leader and former Bihar minister Tej Pratap Yadav has categorically denied any connection to Anushka Yadav or her newborn child. The controversy erupted after social media photos of the two went viral, sparking rumors that Yadav had become a father to a daughter.
Speaking to reporters in Patna, Yadav dismissed the claims as a malicious conspiracy designed to tarnish his reputation. ‘This child is not mine, and I have no relation whatsoever with Anushka Yadav,’ he asserted firmly. He pointed fingers at Akash Bhati, alleging that Bhati is the one linked to Anushka and should address the matter.
Yadav accused a group of five ‘traitors’—whom he labeled ‘Jaychands’—of orchestrating the plot, with names including Mukesh Raushan. ‘They are trying to destroy me through fabricated scandals,’ he charged, vowing to expose the scheme by meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi and approaching the Union Home Minister and courts.
The political scion expressed frustration over relentless attacks on his character, especially amid family events like a traditional dahi-chuda ceremony attended by his father, Lalu Prasad Yadav. ‘We are truthful, that’s why they target us. Truth will prevail,’ he declared.
Yadav questioned why Akash Bhati frequented Anushka’s flat and lamented being ousted from his party and family circles. He even hinted at extreme distress, asking rhetorically if he should end his life amid the harassment. This latest uproar adds to Yadav’s history of high-profile personal controversies, keeping Bihar’s political circles buzzing.
