The death of Renu Katre, 44, wife of a Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority Sub-registrar, has raised serious questions. Found dead at her home in Kandivali East, initial findings suggest suicide. However, Renu Katre’s family strongly disputes this, alleging that foul play led to her death.

It has been revealed that Renu had accused her husband of harassment. Her brother has stated that she took her life following a dispute on Saturday night, but believes it was murder.

The Mumbai Police are investigating the case under Section 108 of the BNS.

In another development, a family of four in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar district died by suicide. The family members reportedly consumed sulfas tablets. The victims are identified as Manohar Lodhi (45), his son Ankit (16), daughter Shivani (18), and grandmother Phulrani Lodhi (70). The incident occurred at Tehar village. The reason for the tragic incident is currently under investigation.
