NEW DELHI: Sudip Roy Barman and Asish Saha, who resigned as MLAs from the Tripura Meeting and give up the BJP, joined the Congress on Tuesday.
They joined the Congress right here within the presence of former birthday party leader Rahul Gandhi, birthday party basic secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and AICC incharge of state Ajoy Kumar.
Barman and Saha had on Monday resigned from the Tripura Meeting and the main club of the BJP, the ruling birthday party within the North-eastern state the place meeting election is due subsequent 12 months.
Tripura Meeting Speaker Ratan Chakraborty authorized the resignation of Barman and Saha.
