Sonam Wangchuk’s Wife Appeals to Supreme Court for Husband’s Freedom

Gitanjali, the wife of Sonam Wangchuk, has sought the intervention of the Supreme Court to secure her husband’s release. She has contested his arrest following the violent incidents in Ladakh on September 24th. The climate activist has been imprisoned in Jodhpur Jail, Rajasthan, since his detention. Angmo’s petition was officially registered with the Supreme Court on October 2nd.
