Mumbai, March 7: Punjabi sensation Badshah finds himself in deep trouble over his latest track ‘Tatihri’. The song, packed with controversial lyrics targeting women, has sparked outrage leading to its swift removal from YouTube following complaints from the Haryana Women’s Commission.

The controversy erupted when the song’s derogatory references to girls drew sharp criticism. Haryana authorities wasted no time, registering FIRs in Panchkula and Jind districts. Now, police have kicked off proceedings for a Look Out Circular (LOC) to prevent the singer from fleeing the country.

According to Haryana Police, notices have been served demanding Badshah’s immediate appearance. Panchkula police successfully got the video yanked off YouTube and are pressuring other platforms, channels, and social media handles to delete related reels and shorts.

The FIR invokes Section 296 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act. The video’s visuals are particularly alarming, showing minor girls in school uniforms tossing bags and fleeing studies, while lyrics misuse terms like ‘Badshala’ to mock education and hurl insults at women.

Multiple police teams are now scouring possible hideouts for Badshah’s arrest. This crackdown underscores Haryana Police’s zero-tolerance stance against objectionable content on social media and music platforms. As the singer remains elusive, the music industry watches nervously, aware that such bold releases can backfire spectacularly.
