Sikh priest attacked in Tarn Taran; leg chopped off

AMRITSAR: A Sikh priest was once attacked with sharp-edged guns and his leg was once chopped off in Tarn Taran district, a police respectable stated on Friday.

Sukhchain Singh (32) was once attacked remaining evening in Khadoor Sahib the town and the attackers controlled to flee after the incident, Senior Superintendent of Police Gurmit Chohan stated.

The priest was once admitted to a sanatorium and two surgical procedures had been carried out.

He’s now out of threat, Chohan stated.

The priest was once hired at a gurdwara in Bannia village.

“His leg was once chopped off brutally, but even so deep cuts had been inflicted on his hand’s finger. His leg which the miscreants chopped off was once no longer discovered round,” the SSP stated.

Police have registered a case in response to the observation of his circle of relatives and the culprits will probably be arrested quickly, the SSP added.
