Pune, February 21: BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla unleashed a scathing attack on Congress leadership, labeling the party ‘brainless’ following Youth Congress’s disruptive protest at the AI Summit. In an exclusive conversation, Poonawalla accused Rahul Gandhi of being the world’s biggest liar, constantly peddling falsehoods on issues from Rafale to Savarkar and now the RSS.
‘Rahul Gandhi has become the Leader of Propaganda, dragging himself to court repeatedly where judges reprimand him for his lies,’ Poonawalla stated. He highlighted how Gandhi’s defamation cases stem from his relentless misinformation campaigns, underscoring a pattern of deceit that undermines public trust.
Turning to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Poonawalla condemned the siblings’ alleged disdain for Northeast India, particularly Assam. He recalled Rahul rejecting a traditional ‘Gamosa’ at a President’s reception and pointed to a viral video showing Priyanka reportedly disrespecting the cultural symbol by tossing it into a car. ‘This is a blatant insult to Assam’s people and traditions,’ he asserted.
The AI Summit fiasco drew particular ire. Youth Congress activists stormed the event shirtless, an act Poonawalla described as evolving from ‘shirtless’ to ‘characterless, tasteless, shameless, pointless, and brainless.’ He argued such anti-national behavior contradicts the Indian National Congress’s foundational values, rebranding it as Anti-National Congress.
Poonawalla criticized Congress leaders for defending the protesters, comparing them to Gandhi and Bhagat Singh. ‘By supporting these goons who tried to sabotage a national event, Congress confirms this was orchestrated under Rahul Gandhi’s directives,’ he said. The incident exposes the party’s desperation and disconnect from national interests, he concluded, urging a return to principled politics.
