Drivers with outstanding traffic challans can benefit from the upcoming Lok Adalat on September 13th, 2025. Significant discounts will be available for certain traffic violations. To participate, online registration is required to obtain a token number and appointment letter; these are essential for attending the hearing.

To register, go to the NALSA website and select the Lok Adalat registration option. Complete the application, upload documents, and submit. The token number and appointment letter will be sent electronically.

Bring the original documents, token number, and appointment letter to the hearing. It is recommended to arrive an hour early.
The Lok Adalat provides relief for minor violations, including driving without a seatbelt or helmet, red light violations, incorrect challans, speeding, lack of a valid PUC certificate, illegal parking, driving without a license, lack of a fitness certificate, lane violations, ignoring traffic signals, and driving without a number plate.

The Lok Adalat will not handle serious cases like drunk driving, hit-and-run incidents, negligence resulting in death, illegal racing, driving by minors, vehicles involved in criminal activities, cases already in court, and challans from other states.

The hearing process involves cases being heard by token number. The judge may reduce or waive the fine. For serious violations, a fine may still be imposed. After the order is given, the case will be concluded.
