The political career of KA Sengottaiyan within the AIADMK has seen a dramatic turn. Party General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami has removed the veteran leader from all his posts within the party. The decision, which came into effect on Saturday, saw Sengottaiyan relinquish his roles as District Organisation Secretary and District Secretary of the Erode Suburban West District. The announcement was made after a meeting where Palaniswami consulted with several senior party leaders, including former ministers, in Dindigul.
