Safety, formative years’s long term at risk with this ‘new experiment’: Rahul Gandhi on Agnipath

NEW DELHI: Congress chief Rahul Gandhi on Sunday attacked the Centre over the Agnipath army recruitment scheme, announcing the rustic’s safety and the way forward for the formative years are at risk with this “new experiment” of High Minister Narendra Modi’s “laboratory.”

Sixty thousand infantrymen retire annually, out of which best 3,000 are getting govt jobs, Gandhi stated in a tweet in Hindi.

“What’s going to be the way forward for 1000’s of ‘Agniveers’ retiring after 4-year contracts,” the previous Congress leader requested.

“With this new experiment of the High Minister’s laboratory, each the protection of the rustic and the way forward for the formative years are at risk,” Gandhi stated.
