Bhopal, January 23: In a bold statement on the ongoing Bhojshala dispute, former BJP MP Sadhavi Pragyasingh Thakur asserted that Hindus will never tolerate any meddling in their religious practices. Declaring the site as the eternal temple of Goddess Saraswati, she demanded uninterrupted worship rights without any restrictions.
Speaking exclusively, Sadhavi Pragyasingh emphasized her respect for the Supreme Court as a constitutional pillar but clarified that the recent order is merely interim. ‘It allows both sides to practice their faiths temporarily – Muslims for prayers and Hindus for puja. But this sacred Saraswati temple, desecrated during foreign rule, deserves permanent justice,’ she said.
Recalling historical injustices, she highlighted how Hindu temples faced destruction and conversion into mosques under Mughal tyranny. ‘Hindus have endured centuries of oppression, but today we are awake. We don’t seek revenge; we aim to restore the glory of our temples and erase those stains,’ she added passionately.
Criticizing the Congress party, Sadhavi accused them of ignoring Hindu sentiments and actively undermining Sanatan Dharma for decades. ‘They never cared for sites like Bhojshala. Now, with Hindus united, we demand our permanent temple free from any hurdles.’
She stressed India’s freedom guarantees religious liberty to all communities, but Hindus have always protected their dharma fiercely. ‘No interference in Hindu practices will ever be accepted. Bhojshala must remain a peaceful worship site for Maa Saraswati eternally.’
Her remarks come amid heightened tensions following the Supreme Court’s directive on shared usage, reigniting debates on religious sites disputes across India. Hindu groups continue their legal and cultural efforts to reclaim historical temples, signaling a broader awakening in the community.
