In Satna, Madhya Pradesh, RSS chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat attended the inauguration of the new building at the Meher Shah Darbar in the Baba Sindhi Camp, where he addressed the attendees. Bhagwat emphasized the unity of the community, highlighting that all are ‘Sanatanis’ and Hindus. He asserted that the British had introduced division. He explained that regardless of religious or linguistic identities, everyone shares a common Hindu heritage. He noted the British’s conquest, and how they undermined spiritual values in exchange for material gains, which further led to the feelings of division. He called for introspection, guided by spiritual principles and the wisdom of their gurus, while also embracing their cultural identity, as defined by language, traditions, and places of worship. Bhagwat expressed the resolve to regain what belongs to them.
Bhagwat discussed the external perception of Hindus, even among those who do not identify as such. He highlighted the Sindhi community’s history in undivided India. He also promised that their claims and lost properties would be restored.
