Republic Day 2022: DRDO’s tableaux show indigenous guns for Tejas, propulsion gadget for subs

NEW DELHI: The Defence Analysis and Construction Organisation (DRDO) had two tableaux on the Republic Day parade on Wednesday, showcasing indigenously evolved battle programs for the sunshine battle plane (LCA) Tejas and air impartial propulsion (AIP) programs for Indian submarines.

Twenty-five tableaux of various states, departments and military had been a part of the parade.

The DRDO’s first tableau displayed an indigenously-developed complex electronically scanned array radar referred to as ‘Uttam’ and 5 other aerial introduced guns and an digital battle (EW) jammer to improve the functions of the fourth-generation LCA Tejas.

The second one featured indigenously-developed AIP programs for propelling the Indian Military’s submarines underwater.
