Patna, February 4: Bihar Minister Ramkripal Yadav launched a scathing attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her Trinamool Congress (TMC) party, declaring that the people of Bengal have made up their minds to throw TMC into the Bay of Bengal.
Speaking to reporters, Yadav asserted that Mamata has already lost the upcoming elections psychologically. ‘She’s haunted by the fear of defeat and even imprisonment,’ he said, pointing to widespread corruption plaguing her administration. Several of her close aides have already faced legal action, creating an atmosphere of dread that forces her into desperate rhetoric.
Yadav emphasized that the corruption in West Bengal has reached such levels that the government can no longer stand with Mamata. ‘The public is resolute: TMC will be dumped into the Bay of Bengal,’ he remarked vividly, capturing the sentiment on the ground.
Turning to the contentious SIR process, the minister clarified that no wrongful names will be removed, and actions will strictly follow legal protocols. He extended this stance to Uttar Pradesh, where accountability will be enforced on those involved in groups.
On parliamentary disruptions, Yadav blamed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for obstructing proceedings. ‘The House runs by rules, giving everyone a chance to speak, but instead of debating, they’re derailing it,’ he criticized.
Finally, addressing the India-US trade deal on agriculture and dairy, Yadav reassured that India’s farm sovereignty remains paramount. ‘No external interference will be tolerated in our agricultural development,’ he affirmed, prioritizing farmers’ interests.
This outburst from Yadav underscores the intensifying political rivalry ahead of key state elections, with BJP allies gearing up to challenge TMC’s dominance in Bengal.
