JAIPUR: In response to the intensifying cold wave sweeping across Rajasthan, authorities have extended school holidays in 13 districts to safeguard students’ health. The decision comes as temperatures plummet to single digits, with frost and fog disrupting daily life. The state education department issued fresh orders prolonging the winter break until further notice. Districts including Jaipur, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Churu, Hanumangarh, Sriganganagar, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Nagaur, Pali, Ajmer, and Bundi are affected. Schools for classes 1 to 12 will remain closed, providing relief to parents and educators amid harsh weather.
