Jaipur, January 27 – In a strategic meeting ahead of the upcoming budget session, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma chaired a gathering of BJP legislators at his residence on Tuesday. The session focused intensely on house management tactics, with the CM directing MLAs to robustly defend the government’s stance in the assembly.
Emphasizing the criticality of the budget session starting Wednesday, Sharma announced that the state would unveil an inclusive budget mirroring public aspirations and accelerating Rajasthan’s growth trajectory. He urged lawmakers to spotlight the administration’s accomplishments over the past two years with prominence.
‘Stay present in the house as much as possible, master assembly rules thoroughly, and articulate the government’s position effectively on every issue,’ Sharma instructed. Ministers were tasked with delivering factual, forceful rebuttals to opposition queries and debunking baseless allegations with evidence.
The CM reminded everyone that voters elected representatives from both ruling and opposition parties for the state’s progress. ‘Our duty is to raise people’s concerns constructively,’ he stated, adding that the BJP government remains committed to fulfilling election promises.
In just two years, the government has implemented key reforms outperforming the previous Congress regime’s five-year tenure, Sharma claimed. Priorities like water security saw major initiatives: the Ram Jal Setu project, Yamuna water agreement, and Devas project.
Power supply has been stabilized, with daytime electricity now reaching farmers in 22 districts. From bolstering law and order to generating youth employment, progress is unprecedented. Over 100,000 government jobs have been filled, with recruitment underway for more than 1.5 million positions.
This budget session promises to be a platform where the government’s transformative agenda takes center stage, setting the tone for Rajasthan’s future development.
