MUZAFFARPUR: Union Minister of State Raj Bhushan Chaudhary delivered a sharp rebuke to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, echoing sentiments expressed by former MP Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur. Speaking exclusively to IANS here on Wednesday, Chaudhary asserted that the public no longer takes Gandhi’s statements seriously due to his consistent pattern of behavior.

Chaudhary highlighted Gandhi’s alleged habit of maligning India on foreign soil to score political points. ‘Rahul Gandhi tries to defame the country abroad for power,’ he said. ‘The people of India understand this game, which is why they dismiss his words outright.’

Turning to family dynamics within the Gandhi family, the minister questioned Rahul’s support for his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s potential rise. ‘He wouldn’t want his sister to become national president. If they can’t back each other for progress, how can they work for the nation’s welfare?’ Chaudhary remarked, predicting a resounding defeat for Congress in upcoming elections.

On a positive note, Chaudhary praised Home Minister Amit Shah’s recent comments in Haridwar on Sanatan Dharma’s scientific validation. ‘Fasting’s positive effects on the body prove the ideology’s strength on the global stage,’ he noted, emphasizing the government’s commitment to ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ under constitutional rule.

Addressing Assam Chief Minister’s concerns on infiltration, Chaudhary accused the opposition of exploiting the issue for votes. ‘Efforts to remove infiltrators in Bengal irk Mamata Banerjee. The public knows the truth and will teach her a lesson in West Bengal, where the lotus will bloom.’

Meanwhile, JD(U) leader Komal Singh lauded Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s leadership. ‘His Samriddhi Yatra isn’t just a program; it’s a vision to make Bihar prosperous, self-reliant, and strong. Good governance starts from villages, not just Patna,’ Singh said, underscoring inclusive development for all sections.
