During a recent address at EIA University of Colombia, Rahul Gandhi, who serves as a Congress MP and the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, criticized the Narendra Modi government, pinpointing the attack on democracy as the most pressing issue facing India. Gandhi’s remarks centered on the concept of structural weaknesses within the nation and the importance of preserving its rich cultural heritage. Gandhi also highlighted that the nation is essentially a conversation between its people and cultures. The democratic system is crucial to nurture this diversity, but it is, in Gandhi’s view, under threat, posing a serious risk.
