CHANDIGARH: The Shiromani Akali Dal on Sunday introduced that it’ll box former MLA Baljit Singh Jalalusma from Baba Bakala seat in Amritsar district for subsequent month’s Punjab Meeting polls.

Balloting for Punjab’s 117 meeting seats will probably be hung on February 20 and the counting of votes will happen on March 10.

“SAD President Sukhbir S Badal has introduced former MLA Baljit Singh Jalalusma as birthday celebration candidate from Baba Bakala. General declared 95,” mentioned birthday celebration chief Daljit Singh Cheema in a tweet.

With this, the birthday celebration has to this point declared 95 applicants.

It’s but to announce applicants for Lambi and Amritsar East seat.

Lambi is recently represented through former leader minister Parkash Singh Badal whilst Amritsar East is through Punjab Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu.

The SAD cast an alliance with the Bahujan Samaj Birthday party (BSP) in June closing 12 months for the state meeting elections.

In keeping with the seat-sharing association, the Mayawati-led BSP will combat 20 of the 117 meeting seats in Punjab, whilst the remaining will probably be contested through the SAD.
