    The Pune district administration has announced Rs 5 lakh in financial assistance for the families of the four individuals who died in the Indrayani River bridge collapse. The incident involved 55 people, with 51 rescued and 38 currently hospitalized. An aerial survey was undertaken to confirm the completion of search operations. A probe team has been established, encompassing members from the Irrigation, PWD, Forest, and Police departments, to investigate the collapse and review safety protocols. A structural assessment of older bridges is also being pursued, along with a public advisory against visiting such areas during the monsoon season.
