The increasing popularity of online games, particularly PUBG, has raised concerns regarding the potential for inattentiveness to surroundings. A recent accident in Jabalpur serves as a grim example of these risks. A young man, while engrossed in a PUBG game on his mobile device, was struck by a train on a railway track near the number two railway bridge in the Ghamapur police station area. His intense focus on the game prevented him from noticing the train’s approach, resulting in a serious injury to his hand. He was rushed to a medical college, where doctors were unfortunately unable to save his hand and were forced to perform an amputation.
