Proposal for putting in tallest flag pole at Imphal won from Manipur: Government

Recently, the tallest flag pole for flying India's nationwide flag is in Belagavi, Karnataka, which stands at 110 metres in peak (361 feet).

An offer for the set up of the tallest flag pole at Imphal for hoisting the nationwide flag has been won from the Manipur govt, the federal government knowledgeable Parliament on Monday.

Union Minister for Tradition G Kishan Reddy mentioned this in a written reaction to a question in Lok Sabha.

He used to be requested whether or not any proposal is pending with the federal government for the set up of the sector’s tallest nationwide flagpole, to which he answered within the affirmative.

“An offer for set up of the tallest flag pole at Imphal for hoisting the nationwide flag has been won from the state govt of Manipur,” he mentioned.

“State govt of Manipur has been requested to revisit their proposal and put up the main points for attention of Ministry of Tradition,” Reddy added.

Recently, the tallest flag pole for flying India’s nationwide flag is in Belagavi, Karnataka, which stands at 110 metres in peak (361 feet). The flag pole at Belagavi Fortress Lake is 1 toes taller than the only in Attari-Wagah border in Punjab, which stands at 360 toes.

The tallest flag pole on the planet is positioned in Cairo, which stands at 201.952 metres in peak (662.57 feet).
