Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s three-day visit continues in Assam. After spending time in Manipur, where he launched multiple development initiatives, the Prime Minister is now in Assam. He participated in the event commemorating the birth centenary of Bhupen Hazarika. A dedicated day, September 14th, will focus on Assam’s development, with projects worth over Rs. 18,530 crore planned. The first event will be in Darrang, with the foundation stone laying for a Medical College and Hospital, a Nursing College, and the Guwahati Ring Road Project. The inauguration of the Assam Bioethanol Plant at Numaligarh Refinery Limited in Golaghat is scheduled, which is a step towards promoting clean energy. The foundation stone for the Polypropylene Plant at Numaligarh Refinery will be laid to stimulate the local economy and boost employment opportunities.
