In an official post on X from Rashtrapati Bhavan, President Murmu said, ‘On the occasion of Himachal Pradesh’s Full Statehood Day, I extend my heartiest greetings to all the residents of the state. Known as Devbhoomi for its spiritual traditions and Veerbhoomi for its legacy of valor, the land of Himachal is blessed with nature’s boundless gifts, creating an unparalleled attraction. I am confident that the hardworking people of Himachal Pradesh will continue to play a vital role in nation-building and the nation’s security. Himachal Pradesh achieved full statehood on January 25, 1971, transitioning from a Union Territory.
