In an official post on X from Rashtrapati Bhavan, President Murmu said, ‘On the occasion of Himachal Pradesh’s Full Statehood Day, I extend my heartiest greetings to all the residents of the state. Known as Devbhoomi for its spiritual traditions and Veerbhoomi for its legacy of valor, the land of Himachal is blessed with nature’s boundless gifts, creating an unparalleled attraction. I am confident that the hardworking people of Himachal Pradesh will continue to play a vital role in nation-building and the nation’s security. I wish a bright future for all the people of the state.’

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla joined the chorus, posting, ‘Heartiest greetings and best wishes to all residents of Devbhoomi Himachal Pradesh on its Statehood Day. Himachal Pradesh achieved full statehood on January 25, 1971, transitioning from a Union Territory.
