New Delhi buzzed with sharp political rhetoric as BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla unleashed a barrage of criticism against opposition parties. Targeting the Congress amid internal Karnataka turmoil, Poonawalla quipped that the grand old party should be renamed ‘I Need Chair’ instead of Indian National Congress, highlighting its obsession with power chairs over public service.

On the global stage, Poonawalla praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s balanced diplomacy in the Israel-Palestine conflict. He noted how Modi earned top honors from both Israeli parliament and Palestinian leadership, underscoring India’s credible voice for peace. ‘India has consistently championed harmony, maintaining dialogue with both sides,’ Poonawalla asserted, slamming vote-bank politicians for prioritizing narrow interests over national policy.

Turning to Kerala, he condemned the Left government’s failure to protect even its own minister, questioning public safety under their rule. Poonawalla accused Congress and Left fronts of institutionalizing political violence, a dangerous trend that demands national outrage.

In Karnataka, the BJP leader exposed Congress infighting, from DK Shivakumar vs Siddaramaiah to G Parameshwara’s CM ambitions. He revealed 31 MLAs demanding cabinet berths, fueling chaos. ‘This is Congress’s true face – not national service, but a mad scramble for chairs,’ he mocked.

Poonawalla also blasted Congress over the AI Summit controversy, where courts deemed their actions unconstitutional. As opposition faces widespread condemnation, BJP positions itself as the steady hand guiding India forward.
