PM Modi Unveils Employment Scheme with Focus on Manufacturing Sector

The newly launched ‘PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana’ focuses specifically on the manufacturing sector. The scheme is designed to provide financial aid to young individuals as soon as they secure their first job within a company. However, there are certain conditions attached to the incentive. Beneficiaries must work at the company for a minimum of six months, and the company itself must be registered with the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). If these conditions are met, the youth will receive the financial incentive. No application is required to participate in the scheme; eligibility is automatically determined upon securing employment and the opening of a PF account. The first installment will be credited to the beneficiary’s account six months after the start of employment.
