New Delhi is gearing up for a significant youth event as Prime Minister Narendra Modi prepares to address the annual NCC PM Rally on January 28 at Cariappa Parade Ground. Scheduled for 3:30 PM, this gathering underscores the theme ‘Nation First – Youth Duty Bound,’ emphasizing discipline, patriotism, and national commitment among India’s young generation.

The rally marks the grand finale of the month-long NCC Republic Day Camp 2026, drawing 2,406 cadets from across the nation. Adding an international flavor, 207 young participants and officials from 21 foreign countries will join the festivities, highlighting global youth solidarity.

A vibrant cultural extravaganza awaits, featuring performances by NCC cadets, National Sports Stadium members, and National Service Scheme volunteers. These displays will showcase their pivotal roles in nation-building, social service, and character development, inspiring attendees with messages of unity and progress.

Earlier this month, on January 18, Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth visited the NCC Republic Day Camp in Delhi Cantt. Welcomed with a guard of honor and a splendid band performance by cadets from Sindhia School, Gwalior, Seth lauded the event’s spirit.

In his address, Seth described Republic Day not just as a holiday, but as a tribute to the Constitution and freedom fighters. He positioned NCC cadets as vibrant bridges between India’s glorious past and promising future, praising the camp for reflecting youth discipline, dedication, and leadership.

Seth urged cadets to embrace ‘Make in India’ by adopting indigenous products. He highlighted the startup boom under PM Modi’s initiatives, with numbers surging from 800 to over 200,000 in the past decade. Commending 15 cadets for their 1,300 km cyclothon from Ranchi to Delhi honoring Veer Birsa Munda, and 10 set to conquer Mount Everest in 2025, Seth inspired a sense of adventure and national pride.

This rally promises to be a clarion call for India’s youth to step up in service to the nation, blending tradition with forward-looking ambition.
