In a fiery speech in Ajmer, Rajasthan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unleashed a scathing attack on the Congress party, accusing it of ambushing national events to tarnish India’s global image. Speaking at a massive public rally on February 28, Modi highlighted the recent AI Summit in Delhi, which drew world leaders, presidents, and tech giants from across the globe.
The event was a resounding success, with international delegates showering praise on India’s technological prowess and hospitality. ‘The world gathered under one roof to applaud India’s achievements,’ Modi said. Yet, he charged, a defeated and desperate Congress, drowning in repeated electoral losses, staged a shameful protest to embarrass the nation in front of foreign guests.
Modi didn’t hold back, rebranding the once storied Indian National Congress as the ‘MMC’ – Muslim League Maoist Congress. ‘It used to be INC, but no longer. Today, it’s MMC, echoing the divisive Muslim League that partitioned India out of hatred, and the Maoists who despise our prosperity, Constitution, and vibrant democracy,’ he thundered.
Drawing historical parallels, the Prime Minister reminded the crowd how the Muslim League’s animosity led to India’s bifurcation. ‘Congress is treading the same path, lurking in shadows to strike at India’s reputation anywhere, anytime,’ he asserted. He vowed that the nation would never forgive such betrayals.
Modi extended his critique to Congress’s historical mishandling of the armed forces. ‘This party has a habit of defaming the country and weakening our military. They left soldiers begging for uniforms and weapons, denied OROP benefits to veterans for years, and oversaw massive defense scams,’ he alleged.
In contrast, under his government’s decade-long tenure, India’s military has delivered decisive blows against terrorists and adversaries. From surgical strikes to Operation Sindoor, the forces have proven their mettle on every front. Yet, Congress leaders amplified enemy propaganda against these victories, Modi claimed.
‘Whatever benefits the people, Congress opposes it. That’s why the country is teaching them a lesson at every poll,’ Modi concluded, rallying the enthusiastic crowd with calls for a stronger, united India.
