Ranchi, February 26: BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdev hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the world’s most popular leader after he became the first global leader to surpass 100 million followers on Instagram. Shahdev emphasized that Modi’s policies have reshaped India’s trajectory in the 21st century, earning him massive admiration worldwide.

Instagram, widely regarded as the go-to platform for young people, underscores Modi’s unparalleled appeal to the youth. ‘This milestone is clear proof that PM Modi is now the biggest youth icon on the planet,’ Shahdev declared. From India to every corner of the globe, people are captivated by his visionary leadership and transformative vision.

Turning to international relations, Shahdev highlighted the unbreakable bond between India and Israel, calling Israel India’s ‘all-weather friend.’ He recalled how India has stood firmly by Israel in times of need, including PM Modi’s strong condemnation of the recent Hamas attacks.

Shahdev also fired back at Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav’s criticism of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s foreign trip. ‘This is Yogi’s first overseas visit as CM, aimed at attracting investments for the state,’ he explained. In a sharp jab, Shahdev contrasted Yogi’s purposeful journey with Akhilesh’s past trips, which he mockingly described as joyrides and jungle safaris. As a sannyasi committed to public service, Yogi’s travel serves the greater good of Uttar Pradesh.

Akhilesh had questioned Yogi’s Japan visit, pointing out the irony of those once opposing foreign trips now embarking on them. Shahdev’s retort reinforces the BJP’s narrative of dedicated governance versus political tourism. Modi’s digital dominance and these diplomatic strides signal a bold new era for India on the world stage.
