New Delhi buzzed with excitement on Saturday as Prime Minister Narendra Modi spearheaded the 18th National Employment Fair, personally distributing appointment letters to over 61,000 selected youths across various government departments and organizations. Faces lit up with joy and newfound confidence, marking a pivotal moment in their career journeys.

This grand initiative served as a launchpad for dreams, connecting diligent candidates with stable government positions in forces like CRPF, CISF, ITBP, BSF, and SSB. One thrilled appointee from Nagpur, Maharashtra, shared his story with pride. Selected as a CRPF constable through SSC GD recruitment, he credited his library instructor for guiding him through the application process. ‘Their support was invaluable in reaching this milestone,’ he said, eyes gleaming.

In Delhi, another young professional attributed his success to unwavering family backing. ‘They stood by me every step,’ he noted, before expressing heartfelt gratitude to PM Modi for orchestrating the event. ‘This fair has changed our lives.’

Chandigarh’s candidates echoed similar sentiments. A dreamer who aspired to join the army post-12th grade faced setbacks due to age limits but bounced back with SSC GD prep, securing his spot. Another praised the fair’s merit-based approach: ‘Hard work pays off here, and under PM Modi’s leadership, thousands like me have found employment.’

One Chandigarh youth, now a CISF constable, gears up for training in Deoli, Rajasthan, starting February 16. His brother’s prior selection in CISF added a family triumph. Nearby, an ITBP appointee beamed, ‘Now I can serve the nation alongside my sibling.’

From Gujarat’s Gandhinagar, an SSB constable voiced thanks to the PM, while a young woman shattered stereotypes by fulfilling her childhood dream of joining BSF. ‘People discouraged girls, but I proved them wrong,’ she declared triumphantly.

The event underscores the government’s commitment to youth empowerment, bridging aspirations with opportunities and fostering a skilled workforce for India’s future.
